Yang Luchan's Former Residence

  It is the former residence of a generation of Tai Chi master Yang Luchan. It is located in the south gate of Guangfu city. It is now a key cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province. There were originally two courtyards in the north and south, the north courtyard was a residence, and the south courtyard was a shop house. The ancient land covers an area of 980 square meters, but it has long been destroyed. The former residence is divided into two courtyards from the east to the west. There were originally five tea sheds, upper room, matching room, performance hall and other buildings. After the first China Yongnian International Taijiquan Association in 1991, the Yongnian County Government was established to promote Tai Chi culture The preparatory committee for Yang Luchan’s former residence was rebuilt and added on the original site in 1992. The front and back courtyards of the former residence are Qing-style buildings in the north.
